She had a record of being the youngest cricketer on the junior women’s cricket team.

Preethi went on a college trip to Pondicherry, where she was having a fun time with her friends. Suddenly, she went off with waves and had a sudden bolt in her body, after which she was unable to move. The accident left her quadriplegic.

She caught a glimpse of some more people who were physically challenged like her and were alone on the journey as there were no universities or rehabilitation centers or companies that concentrated on the needs of differently-abled people. She decided to help them and succeeded in laying the foundation of a charitable trust organization named “Soulfree”, where she trained and gave them opportunities to stand on their own feet.

She is the beloved daughter of Mr. N. Shrinivasan and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Shrinivasan. Her parents were the main source of motivation for her as they always supported her decisions and never doubted her. They used to motivate her and loved her unconditionally.
